Ways to Help

There are several ways that you can help the Owasippe Staff Association with our ongoing mission to support Owasippe. Our members and friends make it possible for the OSA to continue to have a positive impact on the camping experience of every Scout that camps at Owasippe Scout Reservation.

The Owasippe Staff Association is incorporated and operated exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and Chapter 48 section 331 of the Illinois Revised Statutes. Donations made to the OSA are tax deductible.

Get involved! Here’s how YOU can help:

DONATE
We are always seeking donations of funds, building materials, camp program equipment, raffle prizes, silent auction items and even Owasippe memorabilia (for resale).

VOLUNTEER
The OSA needs volunteers at more than just fix-its. We need help running all of our events, transporting supplies to camp, training CITs, sending mailings, writing newsletter articles … you name it. We even need volunteers to serve on the Board!

KEEP YOUR DUES CURRENT
The $15 annual membership fee may not seem like much, but multiply that amount by 400 members. Yep, it adds up! If everyone kept their dues current we’d have about $6,000 per year to put towards OSA programs that support Owasippe!
